I found this old poem my friend Pao and i wrote. I don't even remember writing it. The title is "Grill" and its about Christmas, and not really much about a grill.

Grill

So much has been said
About the spirit of Christmas
And how its supposed to be dead
And so much has been sung
Of reindeer and snow
And bells that are rung,
But all of us neglect,
And we really do forget
The small silent Christmas light,
Whose shine gives grace to the
Otherwise dark night,
And high electric bills
That'll make your blood boil as hot
As a fiery grill

For the past few days, i've experienced the hardest part of being the secretary-general..i had to make the midterm examination schedules of the elective classes...sounds easy? NO!!! There are 30 plus electives and 300 plus students taking electives and just 6 time slots available..so how do i make sure that student John Doe will not have two electives on 1 time slot? I worked on the schedule for around 70 hours!! i didn't sleep for 2 nights, so yesterday i looked like a zombie..:O the schedule i ended up with was the best combination that gave the least number of students with conflicting schedule (it had a total number of only 9 out of 300+ students with confllicting scheds)...but this wasn't the bad part..

when i ran for sec-gen, i knew that i had to do this, so i accepted it..the bad part was after i submitted the schedule to the dean...then the dean had it posted..then all of a sudden, i started receiving anonymous texts from students complaining why i put this subject on this time slot, etc... groups of students started to flock me in campus..complaining...i had no choice..making the schedule was not easy...i made it for the general interest of the students....even i was not satisfied with where i put my elective, but it was a sacrifice for the majority...

..then i heard one student say....bad faith..

Finally...My family finally returned from the states after 1 loooooong month...for me it felt like eternity because of the fact that it was christmas and new year..it really felt so bad for me because i missed my li'l bro who i have taken care of since he was a little baby..and now he is 9 years old...it really sucked while every friend i know is enjoying the xmas holidays with their families and friends...and all i got with me is the television..hehe.. I'm so happy now that when i wake up in the morning i don't have to scavenge for food..or when i get home at night i don't have to talk to the tv anymore..hahaha....haaay...everythings back to normal..

Superhero!

Ive been thinking....i think what our country needs is a superhero! not the superhero from those cheezy lines that go "everyone is a hero..blah blah blah"...but what i mean is a hero like those from the comic books! it has been my dream since i was a kid to be a superhero...there are a few reasons that i could think of that makes me want to be a superhero..

maybe im selfish in a way that i want to use my super powers for my best interest..hehehe..
i want to be on television...oh..and i want to be interviewed too...hehe..maybe by boy abunda...hehe..oh and maybe a commercial..like for bench underwear!
i'd like them to make a movie about me..maybe starring edward norton as me?
i want to have my own merchandise..i could imagine people wearin boxers with my face...hmmm..i think i'd rather not have the boxers with my face..
it would be nice to have a girl for each day even if they are dating my superhero alterego and not me personally
i'd like to order people around and have control..and be served!! bwahahhaha..
well..maybe i can save a life or two in a month..or lets make it a week...fine fine..ill make it in a day!! but i only save girls...

Hmmm...how do i work this blog? i have no idea why i created one..i don't even know how it works...
